Who else doesn't crave for fries and burgers here? I think no one will attest to it, right?
So here we are, stopping by to Zark's Burger to satisfy our foodie cravings. We've been this exhausted from a long week and pile of activities to order this much. We ordered a burger with mushrooms, the regular one, and the grilled one with chips. We also ordered fries and onion rings because it looks so good. I missed eating that one, can't even remember when was the last time.
We took photos together as a memento because we're not sure when will be the next time. Times like this are rare that we could have extra money to buy any foods we want to eat and has the free time to eat together. Busy schedules as always, where we could only meet ach other for once or twice a month but can only spend an hour or so of our time during that day.
As we are all from a group of rescuers, the common instinct kicked in. We're looking at this signage fixated on the wall while waiting for our orders. Studying it thoroughly, and taking down notes in our minds of how it's done and where are the exit routes in case of emergency.
It's our first time here, and my eyes couldn't help but wander around their food store. The posters on the wall were mostly all about sports and burgers. I guess, their servings are really for an athlete's appetite 'cause it's it was a super really big kind of a size.
Even if they are all good and savory, I still couldn't even finish half of my burger and we were all laughing 'cause none of us can. We ate the amount enough to fill our stomachs. I love the mushrooms, but I'm not fond of raw veggies, so I gave the lettuce to my friends. We're just wrong at one thing. We shouldn't have ordered another plate of fries, 'cause each order of burger comes along with fries. Now, that's a lot!
A little while when we started digging on our feast, two students came to us and introduced themselves. Thy told us that they are supporting themselves by selling desserts. We know the feeling of being a self-support student, so we bought one. In my case, writing has done a lot for me and for my friends here, they have to fend for themselves by having a part time job in some companies, or other side gigs.
After some tries, our tummies couldn't really handle them all, so we took them out with us. We asked for wrappers and bags, and the staff were fast to accommodate our needs. We exit the place trying to decide if we would try again and challenge ourselves to eat them all next time.
