Hi Hivers in Foodies Bee Hive community, it has been a long time from the last time I posted in this great community. Today when I walked along the main street in Mang Den with my camera, I came across a food motorbike which sells fried rice paper, a popular simple street fast food in Vietnam. It's quite cold in Mang Den at this time, then this food becomes favorite for many people. And I'm a big fan of it too. I'll show you how the woman makes it in this post. But first, let me talk a bit about food motorbike in Vietnam. You might be familiar with food truck, in my country, motorbikes are more popular, then food motorbikes are very familiar with us and that's kind of our culture.
Alright, turn back to the main topic today. To make fried rice paper, the ingredients and recipe are quite simple. First, the woman put dried shrimps on a rice paper, then she added green onion, minced pork meat, then she put the rice paper into a hot pan.
Then she broke an egg and poured it onto the mixture on the rice paper. Afterward, she used a spoon to spread the mixture (dried shrimps, green onion, minced meat and egg) evenly on the rice paper. The heat from the pan makes the mixture cooked and stuck to the rice paper.
Then she added some fried purple onion, chili sauce and mayonnaise to make the cake more delicious. Afterward, she folded the rice paper in half and turned it upside down to make it cooked evenly. Then she put the cake into a paper bag to keep it warm for customers.
You know what, this cake is sold at just 15,000 vnd (about 60 cents). I really like it, especially in this cold weather. I liked it so much that I have two of it. That's enough for my dinner today.
Thank you very much for taking time to rad my post. I'm looking forward to seeing more food from you guys.
