What do you do, when the weather is hot and sweaty? Yup! Enjoying a glass of cold drink is indeed the first choice to quench thirst. Like that afternoon, when I felt the intense heat, I pedaled my minibike to a beverage shop in Yong Lunli market, which called “the Tru Tea Lover”.
This beverage shop serves a variety of soft drinks, from the many menu choices I chose Yogurt + Leng Mong (Lime). I chose this drink because yogurt can launch bowel movements and lime is very good for health. With the addition of a little sugar, making this drink is safe for consumption because it is not too sweet.
The price of one large glass of drink is worth NT$65, or the equivalent of US$ 2,5. There are also other soft drinks, such as Fresh Milk Tea, Winter Melon Tea, Honey infused blueberry vinegar, and Pearl pure honey with fresh Milk and Honey. The location for this drink is on the side of the road, so it's easy to find. The shop assistants are also very friendly when serving visitors.
This was my first visit, but one day I'd like to try another drink. Bubble Tea is a menu that I want to taste when I come here again.
“the Tru Tea Lover”. Established in 1987, this place is very crowded with visitors, especially during summer. Visitors will line up to buy a drink that is characteristic of Taiwan, namely Boba tea, which in this shop is named "Pearl Hong Kong style Milk Tea".
This place is highly recommended to find soft drinks at affordable prices. The place is clean. While waiting for the drinks to be made, you can watch TV, because there is an LED TV hanging right in front for shoppers.
Because it's the Chinese New Year holiday and the children don't go to school when they buy drinks, I saw a small child helping to serve, very diligent and funny. When I was taking the photo he put up his body and gave a peace sign "peace".
