Hello hivers, how are you doing? I just wanted to share how we celebrate 's birthday and the dining experience we had at Bigby's.
I went out for a birthday dinner with my co-hivers last Saturday. We planned ahead of time, but some issues arose, and we were almost forced to postpone it. But, thankfully, we were able to make it.
It's an overwhelming feeling having dinner with them after how many times it seemed impossible to happen, and it's also a little sad because some of our friends couldn't make it.
We met at Ayala Mall in IT Park and went to the designated restaurant, Bigby's. We are fortunate to have found a table that can accommodate us. When we walked in, the place was very well lit. And I adore the atmosphere. The staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. It took us some time to decide what food to get, and we took into account the fact that some of us are allergic to certain foods (actually only me). 😂
While we are waiting for our food, the staff will come over and check on us, asking how we are doing and informing us that our food is almost ready, which I greatly appreciate. When we arrived, it was not overly crowded, but after a few minutes, people began to pour in, keeping the staff very busy.
Fisherman's Platter and Belly Buster are the platter sets we chose. We also got Chilli Flappers and an Emperor's Caesar Salad. We had the Cucumber Juice and had the Ice Tea for drinks.
Before we started digging in, the staff took a photo, and we asked her to take a photo of us with our phones. I'm not sure why she took the photo, but when I turn around, I notice that they post the photos on the wall. It is a very nice gesture because when you return the next time, your photos may be on the wall, reminding you of the times you dined with your friends.
After we finished our meal, we lingered for a few moments to appreciate the setting, the food, and the staff for being so friendly and accommodating. The space inside is ideal for large groups, and there are tables and chairs on the outside as well. It is a little pricey, but if you share it with the group, it is affordable. We went for a long walk after paying the bill and talked until it was time to go home.
How did you spend your Saturday, hivers? I hope you had a good time. Stay safe!
