Here's to another Samgyupsal experience with my friends.
This has been in my draft for a long time and I just didn't pay attention and forgot about it, but I'd want to share my personal experience with this location with you.
When several of my hive friends wanted to meet for dinner and start arranging an event, I went to this place called Jeju Samgyupsal and this is the first time I visited the place. Even though it was only a brief stay, I know I'll be returning.
The second time I visited this location was to meet up with several of my friends because we have various schedules we wanted to bond over dinner, and also as a Despedida to one of our friends. The owner of this business is Neri Naing, a former actress who is now an entrepreneur. This new business, which she referred to as her "new baby," was launched in 2021.
Going back to our second visit, when my friends and I were deciding where to go, the first place that came to mind was this establishment. What I love about this place the first time I visit is how quickly their waitress attends to their customer needs. The ambiance and setting are definitely providing a positive mood too. When we arrive, the menu is already placed outside for you to choose from, and they have set A and set B. Both sets are identical, with the exception that Set B contains beef rather than pork. The price for Set A is 399 PHP (7.14 USD) and Set B is 499 PHP (8.93 USD).
I wasn't able to really appreciate the food and the side dishes on my first visit, so on my second time at this place, I made sure to sample everything and savor the experience. We were all able to enjoy both sets; some of us choose Set A and others of us selected Set B.
We all agreed after spending at least about two hours there that the location and atmosphere were extremely wonderful. We were also pleased since the money we paid for this restaurant was well spent because we are completely satisfied. Here's another thing you will love about this place, If you are a lover of Korean dramas, this place is definitely for you and while you eat your food, you can also get to watch some Korean Dramas or short videos being broadcast on their LED TV.
If you ask me what side dishes I enjoyed most during my visit, I would choose the pink radish, and Korean chicken, also loved their Jeju fried rice, and steamed egg. While some of my friends adore their Kimchi, pink radish, and the rest. The downside or the things that I noticed that could be improved is the space. Since this place has a lot of customers plus they are offering unlimited samgyupsal many people would really visit and will keep coming back so they may have to expand and also a space for the people waiting for a vacant table.
But one thing is certain: this location will be in high demand. Knowing that this location is easy to find, accessible by jeepneys or taxis, and has some workplaces and hotels close by, this location will become more popular as the days and months pass by.
This is the location of this place if you want to visit:
Address: Pres. Quezon Street, corner F. Cabahug St, Cebu City, Cebu
Hours: Opens 11 AM to 10 PM from Mondays-Sundays
Phone: 0968 273 0154
So that's all there is to it, hivers. I hope I didn't starve you, but if I did, you can always come over and fill your belly with Jeju's excellent food.
