Los dulces son una delicia, a mí me encantan, pero también compartirlos con la familia. Así que me regalaron unas lechosas verdes y con ellas preparé este típico dulce de lechosa.

Recuerdo que mi abuela intentó hacerlo pues en la casa teníamos muchas de estas plantas, y ella hizo que las tumbáramos y peláramos. Pero el producto final fue algo que nos causó mucha risa a todos, pues quedó muy cocido y duro. De todos modos no quedó para guardar en la olla.

Preparación:
Lo primero es pelar bien las lechosas, y luego cortarlas en listas no muy finas ni muy gruesas. Las dejé remojando un rato y las lavé bien.

Coloqué medio papelón en una olla con un poco de agua hasta que se disuelva.

Colé el líquido del papelón y lo vertí en una olla grande con las lechosas.

Agregué azúcar y clavos de olor.

Llevé al fuego, no remuevo las lechosas pues se pueden romper, solo voy moviendo la olla y supervisando que tengan líquido.

Después que tomen un color traslucido y brillante y están flojas, es cuando apago y dejo enfriar.
