I started cooking at the age of 10 cause i am the first daughter, I had to cook for my three siblings the reason been that my mum was always busy making money to take care of us.. so I became the second mother..
I can be lazy at times in cooking, but I still make sure it comes out nice.
I will be sharing my ingredients in making jollof rice.
- Raw rice
- 1 Sachet of tomato ( depends on the quantity of rice)
- Thyme
- Curry
- Vegetables( carrots,bean,etc)optional
- Hot dog ( optional)
- Fresh red Pepper ( grind it)
- Salt
- Maggi
- Groundnut oil
- Crayfish ( grind it)
So let me give more knowledge on how I prepared my jollof rice
- You pour the quantity of rice you want inside your pot add desired quantity of water allow it to boil for 10mins
- After that you wash the rice and leave it in an empty bowel
- Set an empty pot on fire when it’s hot you pour your groundnut oil, allow the oil to get hot.
- Put in your chopped onions fry it a little it should not burn
- You open your sachet tomatoes and put it inside the frying onion stir it and allow it to fry for 3mins
- Pour in water the quantity you know will be ok for the rice
- Then you put in your pepper, maggi, salt,grinded crayfish, thyme, curry
- Allow it to boil

LETS TALK ABOUT FRIED PLANTAIN
- Wash your plantain you slice it put in a tiny pinch of salt.
- Then put your frying pan on fire and when it hot you put in your plantain to fry
FRIED FISH
- cut the fish into desired size
- Wash it
- You can use the same oil after frying your plantain to fry your fish
