Food is definitely one of life's greatest pleasures, especially when shared with loved ones.
Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Food Camp in Marigondon Lapu-lapu City, and it did not disappoint. This food camp offers a wide variety of food options from Filipino cuisine to dishes from other cultures.
In addition to delicious food, they also have a great selection of drinks. The live band playing every night adds to the overall dining experience. My colleagues recommended this place, and I'm glad we tried it out.
The food was amazing, and the prices were budget-friendly, so it was a win-win situation. Let me take you through my first experience at Food Camp in Marigondon, Lapu-lapu City, Philippines.
š„š®š®š£š¢š š¬šÆ : FOOD AND FUN signage located just outside. Very visible and easy to see.
The food camp in Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines is conveniently located in the heart of the city, right beside the Marigondon Police Station.
It is easy to spot, thanks to its large signage, making it easy for visitors to find. As the only food camp in Marigondon on Lapu-lapu city, locals are familiar with its location.
There is ample parking space available for those who have vehicles. The parking lot in front of the area is quite large, so there is no need to worry about finding a spot.
During our visit, we noticed that there was plenty of space to park, and we headed towards the motorcycle parking area as the cars and motorcycles are parked separately.
The food camp has a huge parking area, which is always a plus point for us while dining in. It is more convenient to have plenty of parking space, and this place certainly delivers.
The main entrance to the Food Camp is adorned with well-lit signage that illuminates the area beautifully. The ambiance created by the lighting invites a lot of customers and makes dining a much more pleasant experience. The bright signage also serves as a clear marker that you are on the right path towards the entrance of the Food Camp.
At the entrance of the food camp, you'll find a truck selling a variety of children's toys and accessories at an affordable price.
The business model of this truck is brilliant because it can easily park and leave without the hassle of setting up and taking down a stall.
Additionally, the abundance of options for children is a plus since diners will most likely have their kids with them. If you plan on eating here and bringing your children, be sure to have some extra cash on hand as the affordable toys will be hard to resist.
Upon entering the food camp, you will notice a sign that indicates that outside food and drinks are not permitted. The only exception to this rule is birthday cakes, as the food camp offers a variety of food and drinks.
It's quite understandable why they have implemented this policy. If you have a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary celebration, you are allowed to bring a cake. However, it's important to note that outside food and drinks are not permitted since the food camp already has a variety of options available.
Amidst the various food stalls in the camp, there's one that stands out as it doesn't sell food or drinks.
Instead, it offers a wide range of accessories, clothing, beauty products, and perfumes. Although I couldn't step inside, the store's signage gives a glimpse of the variety they offer, especially in the perfume department, at a reasonable price. It may seem ironic to have a non-food stall in a food camp, but it's not a problem.
After a hearty meal, if you want to freshen up or buy some beauty products, this stall might come in handy. You can stock up on wet wipes or buy perfume to smell good and combat the BBQ smoke.
As I was exploring the area, I stumbled upon a lemonade stall offering a refreshing drink for only 39 pesos. It's amazing how they manage to sell a high-quality drink at an affordable price, unlike other stalls that overcharge but underdeliver. The long queue of customers waiting for their turn is a testament to the delicious taste of their fresh lemon juice. It's perfect for quenching your thirst or complementing your meal after a satisfying feast. Although I already had a restaurant in mind for our dinner, I couldn't resist trying out this affordable and tasty drink.
Check out this food stall that offers a wide variety of Filipino Ala carte meals. They have plenty of Filipino favorites available, and each meal comes with free rice, which is a staple in Filipino cuisine. If you're a fan of Filipino food, be sure to stop by and give this place a try.
This food stall offers homemade ice cream, which is a perfect dessert after a sumptuous meal. The variety of fresh fruit flavors available here makes it even more appealing. You can indulge in your favorite dessert without worrying about your budget. It's a perfect place to take your kids or to satisfy your inner child. Ice cream is the best dessert, and nobody can say no to it.

We easily found the food stall we had in mind at the 4th stall to the left from the entrance after walking around.
The food stall is called UKOSH SUNOY offers an unlimited Korean buffet and unlimited samgyeupsal at a reasonable price per head, as indicated in the prices I posted.
Even though the tables were almost full, we were able to find a spot to dine in. We noticed that the diners were not only local Filipinos but also many Koreans and people of different nationalities.
We paid 199 pesos each for dinner, which was a steal considering the wide variety of food options available. I was glad I accepted my workmate's invite to dine here as it turned out to be a great find. This was my first visit, and I definitely plan to come back.
For only 199 pesos, you can enjoy unlimited food from the selection I posted above. One of the best deals is the unlimited samgyeupsal (Korean barbeque) which is very affordable at that price. Aside from the good-tasting meat and chicken with various flavors to choose from, they also offer unlimited desserts. Definitely worth it for the price per head.
One of my favorite things to do with friends and loved ones is to cook and enjoy some good samgyeupsal. It doesn't take up too much time, but that's part of what I love about it.
There's a certain wait that adds up more excitement to the experience, especially when we're all gathered around the grill, making sure the meat is cooked to perfection and served hot.
We always have a blast chatting about life, sharing our plans, and just enjoying each other's company. I highly recommend taking the time to eat out with your friends every now and then. It's not just a great way to socialize, but also to take care of yourself.
Spending time doing what makes you happy, surrounded by the people you love, is so important. Not to mention, it's a great way to relieve some of the stress that comes with everyday life. Just one meal out with your favorite people can make a world of difference.
And, of course, it's even better when you're cooking up some delicious samgyeupsal and trying out all the different sauces. As someone who loves spicy food, I can definitely vouch for the variety of options available.
Having had dinner, we decided to queue at a nearby food stall that offered fruit shakes at an incredibly reasonable cost. Conveniently located close to the place where we had our meal, the menu displayed the different flavors and corresponding prices. We opted for a refreshing blend of mango and avocado, which hit the spot.
Discovering a new favorite dining spot at Food Camp was a truly enjoyable experience. If you're from Lapu-lapu City or Cebu City, I highly recommend visiting Food Camp Marigondon in Lapu-lapu City, Philippines. The food choices are plentiful and budget-friendly, making it the perfect spot for a lunch out with family and friends.
Until my next food adventure! Ciao!āŗļøā”
