Hello, Hivers. Rej here and I am back for another food trip here in Cebu, Philippines.😍 As someone who loves to eat, I always feel excited every time I get to discover a great place to dine. For today's Rejourney, I'm gonna be taking you to a tropical seaside cafe in the Northern part of Cebu, Philippines.
Welcome to SeaSalt cafe, with a picturesque view that's perfect for your breakfast, lunch or early dinner. This beautiful cafe is located in Catmondaan, Catmon, Cebu Philippines. This is in the Northern part of Cebu which is approximately 2 hours away from the Cebu City and just along the highway.
How to get here?
🚌 If you are taking a public transportation, take a bus going to Catmon and tell the driver or conductor to drop you off at SeaSalt Cafe in Catmon, few meters away ahead of Turtle Beach Resort and just beside Grotto @ Km49
🚗 If you are bringing with you a private car, navigate with Waze or Google Maps and set your destination to SeaSalt Cafe in Catmon. Parking space is available upon arrival.
Since I am coming from Cebu City, I started my day really early because I wanted to catch the incredible sunrise here in SeaSalt Cafe while having my breakfast. I was accompanied by my home friend, Kim. It was a Sunday when we went here in this cafe and she then decided to have her online class in Law school while we were here.
SeaSalt cafe has a wide variety of food to choose from. Kim and I decided to look into the menu since this is our fist time in this place and then we ordered afterwards. Their food here is really affordable and worth the travel.
I am really a rice eater person and I usually would want a rice meal to start my day so I ordered their corned beef highlands meal and paired it with chocolate (swiss miss). I also added 2 pieces waffle with caramel syrup. Since Kim is not really into heavy meal during breakfast, she just ordered the waffle and she then paired it with sikwate (100 % tableya). Their food is made from local fresh produce. It was indeed delicious and worth the price. The moment that all our orders were complete, we started to pray and thank God for the blessings.
After praying, Kim and I had a quick selfie. We politely asked as well the crew for a small favor to take a photo of us for some memories and she responded to us with a yes and all smiles on her face. The staffs right here are really approachable and kind. Their customer service to every customer is really commendable.
As we were enjoying our breakfast here, customers started to came in and most of them are bikers and riders. This is really a perfect spot to stop over, eat, and enjoy the view while having a cup of coffee or something.
For pet-lover diners, you could freely bring your pets with you since SeaSalt cafe is pet friendly.
There's a pay wifi available at SeaSalt cafe. That's 10 Php per hour. Kim and I availed for like 4 hours of it and after each hour we need to pay and ask for another username and password. There would be a different username and password every hour to each customer.
Here's my friend Kim right here having some case digest and attending an online class with a beautiful view around us. She's a lawyer in the making and I am just so proud of her.
While Kim is doing her thing, I am also having a videocall right here with my mother who's in our province in Argao, Cebu. She's just so happy to see me enjoying the things that I haven't experienced before.❤️
Before leaving this cafe, we also had a quick photoshoot for some memories to keep.
Kim and I really enjoyed our time in this cafe. We highly recommend this place for your next food trip adventure.
That's it for today's Rejourney. I hope you guys enjoyed this food trip that I had. I'll see you guys on my next travel adventure. Stay safe.❤️
