One of the typical foods of the West Java region is Cireng. This cireng is the origin of the word from fried aci (sago). There are various variants of cireng flavors, starting from cireng stuffed with chicken, cireng stuffed with meatballs to cireng stuffed with shredded meat.
Today I helped my wife make cireng stuffed with chicken. Materials needed include: sago (aci), flour, shredded chicken, chili, shallots, salt and flavoring.
The way to make it is to first boil the chicken meat for a few minutes until it is cooked then turn it into shredded chicken. Next, the shredded chicken is added to the spices that have been mashed and stirred until evenly distributed over medium heat using a frying pan. Be this shredded chicken meat for the contents of Cireng.
Make a dough from sago and wheat flour with a little water until it is easy to roll out thin and print. Milling uses a slightly hard plastic cup as well as the glass as a mold. Here are pictures of the process of making chicken stuffed cireng.
