What would you do if you were served a menu like this?
Today I got a dinner invitation from an old friend. This is an unusual dinner invitation. The menu has weird clams, which I can't describe in words. My mind is racing when I face this menu.
I also really don't know the name of this weird clam. I have tried looking for it on the internet, but I still can't find the name of this shell. My friend who invited me to eat this shellfish didn't know either. He has told me that he got these shells yesterday afternoon from a group of traditional divers who often look for shells in the ocean waters around us. He said that these shells are very rare. Regarding the price, you will feel very rude if you have to ask the price of a menu to the person who has kindly invited you to it, right?
You can see for yourself the very strange shape and the smooth and chewy texture of the clam meat. Luckily, these scallops had been boiled. If it's still raw, the shells will squirm. !LOL
The eating process is also done in a different way; these scallops are placed on fresh banana leaves and served with white rice and only topped with chili sauce. My attention is really only focused on this shell. My hands couldn't touch it. Just looking at its shape made my stomach ache instantly.
I think it's about trying to eat something we've never seen in our lives. Enjoying a strange menu like this not only gets the sensation of eating but also the prestige factor because of the scarcity of availability of a menu. These strange clams are really rare to find, and because of that, they cost a fortune. comparable to the cost of treating cholesterol pain, which increases sharply due to consuming seafood, right?
Actually, I really like seafood menus with various types. But not for this strange clam. There was a strange feeling in my mind and stomach.
