Hey Hivers!
When I visited the parish church of Santander, Cebu, I arrived in the church at lunch time. After I had offered a prayer and strolled around the church I supposedly had my lunch directly to Felice Ristorante Italiano however, I was so hungry already and can't longer tolerate the feeling.
I was doubtful if I would have my lunch at this restaurant because when I first saw this, it is not appealing to me because the view inside is far different from outside. It seems that it is not good to dine in.
If you have seen the arrow that I had drawn that is the view from outside, the curtains were hung to protect the customers from the sun light. Basically, the inside view is not visible when you're outside of the restaurant.
But since I was already hungry, I tried to check the place although I am not sure what it is.
I was completely surprised when I first sighted the interior of the restaurant. From the color to interior design, I really liked it.
Welcome to the Hide-out De Santander! The restaurant is just so small. The owner used native and light materials and applied it with varnish.
The chairs and walls were painted with pastel colors. The ornamental were also full of colors. I was really amazed. Look at the lights hang above, it also helped the place to look more beautiful.

The glasses for halo-halo were also hang above. Have you seen them?
Hide-out De Santander offers fresh fruit shakes, snacks/desserts and silog. Do you know what is silog?
Silog is a class of Filipino dishes containing sinangag (fried rice) and itlog (egg; in context, fried rice). They are served with various viands or ulam, usually meat dishes such as tapa, longganisa or ham. Silog
But if you don't want to pair it with fried rice you can request the crew to serve you with plain rice instead of fried rice.

When you're not choosy when it comes to food, well you're tummy is already full of your @php45.00 (less than 1USD). I ordered Hamsilog meaning I already have rice, egg and ham. I was glad as they had added 1 macaroon and 3 slices of cucumber in my plate for free.
Overall, I had enjoyed the food and the ambience.
