Hi Liketu,
When you think of a Medieval market you usually think of sword fights, puppeteers and theatre shows. I think of food, and boy they did not let me down!
Spain is full of Medieval markets, they make you feel like you've travelled back in time. They seem to be very common, every year most Spanish towns and villages reenact part of their history and culture. They recreate the festive atmosphere by showing off their delicacies that were popular during the Middle Ages and performing theatrical shows like street performances.
This Mediveival market took place in Cordoba Spain, right next to fortresses, castles and churches, so the perfect scene.
Each stall presented flags, decorated with swords or historical monuments and the social areas were covered in straw seats.
In my photos, you'll see many sweet stalls with a mix of savoury meaty bbqs.
Further, into the market, you were able to purchase handmade jewellery, leather goods, dream catchers, soaps and candles. Very fragrant!!
I hope you enjoy my photos :)
