Back then, I enjoyed eating a salty and soothing bowl of chicken porridge almost daily when I was still sleeping in the AM. Now that I sleep in the PM, I can logically choose a meal that's healthier than previous meal I had. So today I learned that Sleeping has an impact on how I choose my meal.
The oatmeal above is only 3 teaspoon without sugar topped with a cavendish banana. The coffee is added with palm sugar. I used to add things with sugar but these days, I opt for palm sugar. How long do they keep me full? Those keep me full for about hours before I crave another meal. But since I woke up late & trying to keep my meal done by 8 pm, I ate another one during my eating window.
Normally, I eat breakfast at around 9 AM then another meal at around 2 PM then a light meal around 6 PM. But today, I decided to begin my intermittent fasting journey again. I am going to do the 16:8, which should be enough to keep me distracted from the thought of food and focus on doing my work. The first time I did intermittent fasting was three years ago. I definitely had seen some benefits to that and the result was satisfying. So, I am attempting to start again while simultaneously testing the effect of piracetam on me.
For the last couple of months, I was mainly doing it on and off. It definitely has impacted my overall performance & life. Though I may seem normal, I struggle with executive function & self-regulations. I don't have problems with learning at all but I have trouble controlling my impulses which led me to making bad decision. And so, I decided to start charting the medications and my diet.
Unhealthy lifestyle certainly does not suit the new me. Sure, when I was a kid, I can eat whatever I want and feel less implications from it. But since my major accident, one slip up (late night snacks)will ripple into a month or two disastrous days.
