La dulcería venezolana es muy variada y representativa de todas las zonas del país, siendo el dulce de lechosa el más degustado en las fiestas decembrinas.
Mi hermano me trajo de regalo tres lechosas esperrugías, papelón y canela para que hiciera un dulce, a él le fascina.
Estaban bien feítas y pequeñas aun así el dulce quedo muy bueno. Y no vio con quien peleó como decimos los venezolanos.
Todos tienen su manera de elaborar el dulce de lechosa, cada persona le pone su ingrediente secreto. A mí me gusta como lo hacía mi padre, cortaba gruesas la lechosa y le ponía piña. Esta fruta le da un toque acidito especial.
Esta es la segunda publicación de mi receta de dulce de lechosa, para los amigos que me han pedido que vuelva a traer esta receta porque no han tenido la oportunidad de disfrutar de esta. Con la diferencia que esta receta la hice con lechosas verdes.

Decidí hacer el dulce con las tres lechosas verdes, canela, azúcar, papelón, bicarbonato, conchas de naranja y piña.

Paso 1: Pele, pique en cuatro partes, y saque las semillas a las lechosas. Las corte en lajas gruesas. Coloque en una olla grande con bicarbonato durante la noche.
Tips: a mí me gusta cortar la lechosa gruesa, porque la lechosa queda por dentro con una contextura suave y por fuera dura.

Paso 3: Agregue solo dos tazas de agua, medio papelón rallado, tres tazas de azúcar, vainilla, piña picada en cuadritos, conchas de naranja y canela.
Puse a hervir hasta que hirvió y se aflojo la lechosa. Cuando se hizo el sirope suave y quedó con un color acaramelado, baje la olla.
Tips:
Las conchas de naranja pueden ser secas.

Step 3: Add only two cups of water, half a grated papelón, three cups of sugar, vanilla, diced pineapple, orange peel and cinnamon.
