Tonight we plan to go shopping to fulfill our monthly needs. but when we were halfway to the supermarket, it was raining heavily so we decided to find shelter. And in the end we decided to stop at Café Sambal Cobe Pak Awan. This cafe is a new Café located in Binjai City where I live and is still viral on social media. It's not even 1 year since this Café was established and visitors who come to this Café are always crowded and filled with vehicles not only from the city where I live but also from outside the City. Because from the beginning I opened this cafe, I have never tried the dishes here, so we decided to take shelter in this café and not just take shelter of course, because it was time for dinner, we decided to taste the menu available at Café Sambal Cobek, Pak Cloud. this.
This cafe is called Café Sambal Cobek because the menu at this Café all uses a Cobek or a tool to grind chili sauce made of clay so that it can be burned in the furnace. Unlike other cafes where the cooking process is in a closed kitchen and only employees or chefs know about it, at Café Sambal Cobek Pak Awan we can see firsthand how the process and how to cook them. And I like to see acrobatic here. So that the cooking process in this cafe becomes an entertainment in itself, not only me but other visitors in the café.
Even so, this Café does not have many menus, all the menus in this Café are nuanced with chili sauce which is quite spicy, if you are not strong spicy then don't ever try to come to this Café, you will not be strong and will get stomachache later. The menu price per serving at this Café is IDR 15,000 or the equivalent of 1 U$ dollar and the most expensive price for the menu in this Café is around 3 U$ Dollars. In every corner of the cafe there will be a notification if the dish we ordered will be served for 60 minutes. That is their tolerance limit, if the dish exceeds 60 minutes from getting the receipt at the cashier then we are entitled to a 20% discount.
However, when I observed all the existing visitors including my own order, since I paid at the cashier, in just 5 minutes all my orders were already on our table. even though I ordered 3 menus at once, namely the Chicken liver Cobek sambal, Chicken Cobek Sambal and Balado eggplant chili sauce, to drink I ordered orange juice and my husband ordered kueni juice. All of these dishes arrived very quickly, so the 20 percent discount promised to us was canceled of course.
This cafe has a very simple decoration with only one main room made of bamboo which has a roof made of palm tree leaves. In the main room, chairs and tables were lined up neatly, there were also tables arranged outside the main room, but because it was raining, the benches outside the Café were not held. From the outside of the Café, we can see a very simple decoration with simple lighting decorations, but because this Café has a different concept of serving dishes from other Cafés in Kotaku, this Café is still crowded. Hopefully in the future this Café will still be able to maintain their existence and improve the quality of their cuisine.
The facilities available at this café are the availability of Westafel, in every corner, because in this Café there are no spoons or forks, visitors are required to eat the dish by hand. In addition to the sink at this Café, there are also toilets and a large parking area. However, the weakness in this Café is the unavailability of contact stock at the visitor's table so that if we want to charge our Android, it will certainly be difficult. And tonight I have a conclusion from this Café. The conclusion that I have from my husband and I's personal assessment is the standard price with the maximum level of chili spiciness, don't try to come if you have digestive problems, hopefully in the future this Café will have a new menu that can be reached by all ages and has other menus that are not special about chili sauce.
Until here my post. greetings from us Tomi and Maya from the City of Binjai Indonesia. Greetings healthy and happy always for us all.
