Pecel Lele, is a type of heavy food as a side dish or a friend to eat rice, especially we Indonesians, our staple food is rice. Pecel catfish consists of fried catfish then given fresh vegetables or raw vegetables and accompanied by spicy chili paste, with a level of spiciness according to your abilities if you want to make it yourself at home, and don't forget the hot rice for the complement, it's very delicious very.
Materials needed are
1. 500 grams of fresh catfish
2. 3 tablespoons of flour
3. Half a tablespoon of salt (to taste)
4. Half a tablespoon of coriander powder
5. Vegetable oil for frying
6. Lettuce leaves to taste
7. Cucumber to taste
8. Carrots to taste
Ingredients for chili paste
50 grams of fresh red chili or according to taste
Salt to taste
1 piece of small size shrimp paste
2 cloves of red onion
2 cloves of garlic
Half a tomato
A little palm sugar
How to make fried catfish:
- Clean the catfish and wash thoroughly, then drain
- Put it in a container and sprinkle salt to taste
- After that also sprinkle coriander powder
- Mix the flour
- Stir until all ingredients are well mixed
- Then the catfish is fried over medium heat
- Once brown, remove and drain.
How to make shrimp paste:
- Wash all the ingredients.
- Fry all ingredients (chili, onion, garlic, shrimp paste and tomato)
- After a little wilted then lift and drain for a while
- After that mash all the ingredients together and add salt and sugar to taste
