The meaning of Tempe Mendoan is tempeh which is fried in flour. Fried tempeh is not too dry and is still soft in texture, so it is said to be mendoan, meaning half cooked.
Tempe is a very practical food ingredient and can be processed with many dishes. And tempeh is very much liked by many people in Indonesia. In addition to its high nutritional value and the very cheap price of tempeh, this food is also considered a practical food because its presentation is concise and does not take time. Tempe is the result of fermenting soybeans mixed with tempeh yeast. And the new tempe will be completely when the soybeans begin to mix with the yeast and are no longer shaped like whole or raw soybeans
Tempe is also a mainstay food for vegetarians, or people who want to eat healthy. Because in Tempe also contains many nutrients that are useful for the body. This is also reinforced from scientific information or electronic articles milling about on the Internet.
