Hello Hive Buddies! How are you all?
It is the Day 2 of Regular Post and today I had cravings for having something in sweet(_ _) . Soo me with my Mother made Jalebis at home.
They were soo crispy, greasy and somewhat chewy due to crystallized sugar exterior. The warm, soft and melting sugary interior pops into the mouth with each bite, giving a gooey, crispy and comforting feel.
Ingridients -
• All purpose flour
• Butter or Ghee
• Water
• ENO or Sweet Soda (usually used in baking cakes)
Procedure -
Firstly take a bowl and put 1 cup measured of all purpose flour, in it put 2 teaspoon (regular spoon used while eating) butter or ghee and give it a good mix. Then add 1/2 teaspoon of ENO or sweet soda (as per choice).
After mixing all this, pour about 1/2 cup of water then mix in one direction. Add more water as according per the need and give it a good mix but only in the same direction as used before.
Pour the batter in a bottle in which a small hole is made.
Take pan or kadhai and put some ghee in it and let it get hot. Then make spirals and fry them.
While frying take Bowl and put sugar and half of sugar pour water and heat them up also add yellow saffron food colour along with saffron threads.
When Jalebi is completely fryed put them in the sugar syrup and let the Jalebis soak the sugar syrup then keep them on any plate or container you want.
To decorate them use thin slices of Pistachios, Alomonds and Saffron Threads and enjoy the crispy and delightful Jalebis..😀
That was it for today. Hope you all like it😊
Thank You!
