Hello Everyone!!!
Hope you all have a Wonderful Day Ahead!!
Here in the Philippines, we have a delicacy called "TURON" or you can say it as Crispy Banana Roll. It is commonly sold in the afternoon for "merienda" or what you called afternoon snack.
With this, I will demonstrate and teach all of you how to make this sweet and tasty turon.
First, we need these ingredients:
-10 pcs Banana ('Saba' is known in English as saba, cardaba, sweet plantain, compact banana, and papaya banana.)
- brown sugar (as coating)
- lumpia/turon wrapper
- water (as paste for wrapper)
- cooking oil
Next, we will peel the banana and cut it into half or into four (based on your prefered size)
Then, dip the banana into the brown sugar for coating.
Next, wrap the sugar-coated banana in the turon wrapper and sealed the edge with water to prevent opening while cooking it.
Then, fry every side for about 3-5 minutes and wait until it becomes golden brown in color.
Now, you have the Filipino Pride "Lumpiang Turon"!!
Hope you Like it!!!
