In Stockholm, the winters are harsh. But that doesn't stop the locals from going about their daily lives. In fact, many people here take their lunch breaks outside, even when it's minus 5 degrees Celsius.I was in no mood to go out for lunch today. But my boss wanted to go, so I went with him. It was actually quite nice to be out in the fresh air.
Location
Cizgara Kolgroll restaurant is located at Hallunda Torg, just outside the centrum. With a rich blend of cultures and people, Hallunda Centrum is known as The meeting place of the world. Here, you can find numerous small shops and large chain stores, as well as all the services that modern city centre visitors demand, such as pharmacies, banks, healthcare and tax offices. The area around Hallunda Center is growing rapidly, with an estimated 100,000 inhabitants in 2021. Exciting projects in housing construction, infrastructure, recreation and entrepreneurship are underway, making this an exciting place to be.
What kind of food do they serve?
The restaurant Cizgara Kollgrill serves halal meat, making it a great option for Muslim diners. The food is a mix of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. You can expect to find dishes like kebabs, hummus, falafel, and pita bread on the menu. Most Turkish restaurants will also offer a selection of seafood, lamb, and chicken dishes. The food is cooked on live BBQ, which gives it a unique flavor.
What is the restaurant decor like?
When it comes to decor, the restaurant is well lit with natural light coming in from the glass walls, with a Turkish twist. The inside of the restaurant is very spacious with light colored walls and high ceilings. There are also several Turkish handmade bags hanging from on the wall. The walls are adorned with Turkish rugs, paintings and handicraft.
The tables and chairs are all made out of wood and are very sturdy. The tables are lined with Turkish tablecloths. Overall, the decor of the restaurant is very traditional and inviting. It is a great place to come for a nice meal with friends or family.
My favourite dish
When my boss first told me about Cizgara Kolgrill in Hallunda Stockholm, I was a little sceptical. He loved the grilled liver at this restaurant, but I wasn't sure if I would like it. The last time I had liver at his other favourite restaurant, it was very hard and tasteless. Luckily, Cizgara Kolgrill offers other grill items as well, so I didn't have to worry too much. But my boss insisted that I try the Ciğer Şiş (Liver Skewers).
I'm glad I did! The liver was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. The other grill items were also great.
I absolutely loved the Çöp Şiş (skewer)! It was so flavorful and juicy.
I liked that there was a variety of dishes to choose from, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Overall, an amazing experience!
