Hello Hivers,
In this blog I will be sharing some photos of Indian street food that is absolutely mouthwatering and must try items.
Here we go with the first snack
In India maggi is everyone's go to dish. It just takes 8-9 minutes to get ready. Maggi is basically noodles with some powdered spices. This is the photo I captured when I went on a trip with my friends. Mountains, a cup of Matka chai(Tea) and obviously your maggi this is the perfect way to make your day good!
The second snack that I find very appetizing are these Afghani momos.
Momos are steamed dumplings filled with meat or vegetables. But these are veg-momos coated with some spice mix and cream. They are mixed well and then they are put into a oven for few minutes until they turn light brown in colour. These momos are served hot with some handmade sauces and mayonnaise.
Here comes the third snack. Kathi rolls(basically a taco folded several times).
This snack was invented in 20th century in the city of Kolkata, India. In it's original form it is a skewer- roasted kebab wrapped in a bread. This snack is available everywhere in India on the streets. This is served hot with some sauce and some mayonnaise.
The last snack I'm going to show you guys is India's favourite homemade and street food. Chole and bhaturas ( chickpeas and fried bread) The chickpeas are made really spicy so that it would taste great with the fried bread. The combination of these two items is perfect. They are served with some chopped onions and some lemon squeezed on top. People also like the idea of mint chutney(sauce) on the top of chopped onions and squeezed lemons.
And yes being a sweet tooth how can I end my blog without a sweet dish. Instead of Indian sweets I prefer some ice-cream here is my favourite ice-cream CASSATA from Amul.
I hope you enjoyed reading my blog.
Thanks for stopping by :)
