Sweet and Spicy Chicken Feet
Ingredients
1/2 kilo chicken feet
2 cups Soda (Sprite)
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
2 tsp Vinegar
Onion
Garlic
Ginger
Black Pepper
Chilli sauce or fresh chilli
Procedure :
Wash the chicken feet thoroughly and cut off the nails. Saute the chicken feet in garlic, ginger, onion, and black pepper until the feet is half cooked. Put soy sauce and vinegar
Cover and let it boil for 5 minutes.
Add the soda and chilli sauce and let it boil in low fire for 45-60 minutes or until the feet is so tender and the sauce is sticky.
Since the feet have no meat, you must cook it until the skin and tendons are tender, or else you will have nothing to munch 😅
Chicken feet is a popular street food in the Philippines often boiled and grilled.
