Good evening Foodies Bee Hive Community! Today I will be sharing how to cook a simple dish that Filipinos are always craving for 😊 We called it Lumpiang Shanghai but in English they called it Spring Rolls.
I am craving for some Lumpiang Shanghai with cheese that's why I decided to make one and I choose a ground chicken instead of pork.
So let's start with the ingredients...
Ground Chicken
Carrots
Red bell pepper
Celery
Garlic
Onion
Salt and pepper
Cheese
Lumpia Wrapper.
Let's proceed on how to make it.
You need to chop carrots , red bell pepper , celery , garlic and onion into small cuts or if you want you can grated it like what I did. After that mix all the ingredients and put some salt and pepper.
Mix it throughly until well combined and taste it also so that you can knew if the taste is okay for you.
Then let's go on wrapping the mixture!
Put a desire amount of mixture in a lumpia Wrapper and put some cheese into it. Roll it tight until the mixture is already coated by the wrapper.
After wrapping , prepare for a frying pan and pre heat the pan and put some amount of oil and put the Lumpiang Shanghai.
When the Lumpiang Shanghai is golden brown already. You can put it in a bowl with tissue so that the oil will reduce and after that you can now serve it and enjoy eating.
