Indeed unplanned set is always the best. For a couple of months planning to meet up and have samgyup, just last night because of unexpected conversation on our group chat our samgyup plans already come to reality.
There's a lot of places to eat here in our hometown. There's a few samgyup place to try too. We ended up eating in a samgyup place located in San Fernando Sur Cabiao Nueva Ecija because the samgyup place in our town proper was crowded last night.
The name of this place is Secret Tambayan. It's my first time to see this place and I am not also seeing it online. They offering affordable unli Samgyup that only cost 198 PHP or around 4 USD.
That time we are the only customer on the place and we really love that because it's not crowded. They also have a free videoke and offering alcoholic drinks too but ofcourse we only go there to eat samgyup to we only eat samgyup and didn't sing haha.
On the corner of the place there's a container which you can get side dishes. The side dishes are kimchi , fishcake , buttered marble potato, fishball and kikiam. We went there 7:00 PM and the container has no pork slice and even lettuce that's why we asked for that. I only got some fishcake, marble potato and cucumber for my side dish. Then the staff will provide the lettuce and the kimchi.
We are 6 and we asked for two grillers. My husband was the one who do grill for us. Thanks to him. Hehe
We are not really satisfied with the service for this following reasons.
First , the food in the container is not filled and we need to asked redundantly for refill but we try to understand because maybe it's late but no it's unlimited thats why they need to have stock.
Second, the servings of the pork is so little like 5 slices per place and because of that the griller ended up empty. Our strategy on eating was not applied because of the small quality of serving plus the cooking time.
Third , we are little bit annoyed when the staff said we will going to pay for the left over when we requested for pork refill. We know our capacity ofcourse and we know that we will pay if we have leftovers.
But ofcourse we remain casual there it's just that there's a thought that it's our first and also our last time eating there.
