Hoy, les quiero compartir algo más de lo que he estado haciendo en estos últimos meses del año. En esta oportunidad les traigo un vídeo de una coreografía que monté para los niños de Sexto, grado en el que estudia mi hija Ammy, en este caso es un ensayo previo, al baile que iban a realizar en las Olimpiadas Deportivas de la escuela. Para este baile hice las mezclas musicales y monté los pasos de la coreografía.
Solo tuvimos 5 ensayos, de los cuales 2 fueron de 1 hora casa uno, en la cancha de la escuela, 2 dentro del aula, súper incómodos y este que fue en el Parque Las Vegas, al aire libre en horarios no académico. Los que saben de Baile, ensayos y enseñanzas en este tema, sabrán que es muyyyy poco tiempo para aprenderse una coreografía con tantos pasos y además cuando son niños. Sin embargo busqué hacer pasos no tan complejos para ayudarlos.

Today, I want to share with you some more of what I have been doing in the last months of the year. This time I bring you a video of a choreography that I put together for the children of sixth grade, where my daughter Ammy studies, in this case it is a rehearsal before the dance that they were going to perform in the school's Sports Olympics. For this dance I did the musical mixes and choreographed the steps of the choreography.
We only had 5 rehearsals, of which 2 were of 1 hour each, in the school court, 2 inside the classroom, super uncomfortable and this one was in Las Vegas Park, outdoors in non-academic hours. Those who know about dance, rehearsals and teachings on this subject, will know that it is veryyyy little time to learn a choreography with so many steps and also when they are children. However, I tried to make steps not so complex to help them.
El mayor trabajo de enseñar al aire libre a niños de 10 y 11 años, es la parte del comportamiento, sin embargo ellos me respetan y quieren, me dicen profesora o mamá de Ammy y hacen caso. Otra dificultad es la gente viendo y los que se atraviesan. También hubo un inconveniente con los vigilantes del parque, pero luego fue resuelto hablando con el Ingeniero encargado.
El baile además es una evaluación, lleva punto como Proyecto de Educación Física, aún no estaban al 100 en este ensayo, pero logramos coordinar entre los padres un último ensayo antes del día de la presentación, para reforzar y ajustar algunos detalles. En el vídeo ya los niños llevaban más de 1 hora ensayando y estaban realmente cansados, pero sé que lo harán mejor el día de la presentación.

The biggest job of teaching outdoors to 10 and 11 year olds, is the behavioral part, however they respect and love me, they call me teacher or Ammy's mom and they listen to me. Another difficulty is the people watching and those who pass by. There was also a problem with the park guards, but it was later solved by talking to the engineer in charge.
The dance is also an evaluation, it has a point as a Physical Education Project, they were not yet at 100 in this rehearsal, but we managed to coordinate among the parents a last rehearsal before the day of the presentation, to reinforce and adjust some details. In the video the kids had already been rehearsing for more than 1 hour and were really tired, but I know they will do better the day of the presentation.
