Hola amigos de HIve , me complace publicar nuevamente en esta comunidad que abre espacio para las artes escénicas, en eta oportunidad quiero compartir un muestra de lo que es la obra Espejos, una obra de teatro dirigida por Omar Gonzales con la actuación de mi novia Alexandra Valencia Hive account@alexeyha86 , Michell Rodríguez y María José Méndez. Una puesta en escena que aborda como temática principal el suicidio.

Hi HIve friends, I am pleased to publish again in this community that opens space for the performing arts, in this opportunity I want to share a sample of what is the play Espejos, a play directed by Omar Gonzales with the performance of my girlfriend Alexandra Valencia Hive account@alexeyha86, Michell Rodriguez and Maria Jose Mendez. A staging that addresses the main theme of suicide.

Muchas veces el teatro es bastante subjetivo y como el mismo director de esta obra dijo, no busca generar respuestas, sino preguntas, y para mi esta obra transmite un importante mensaje tanto para aquellos que en algún momento han pensado o han intentado suicidarse, como para personas que conocen a alguien con predisposición a cometer este acto. Y es que todo lo que sucede en escena nos lleva a descubrir que se esconde en las mentes de estas personas, su sensibilidad emocional, sus problemas, sus tratamientos, sus desordenes.

Often the theater is quite subjective and as the director of this play said, does not seek to generate answers, but questions, and for me this play conveys an important message both for those who at some point have thought or have attempted suicide, and for people who know someone with a predisposition to commit this act. And everything that happens on stage leads us to discover what is hidden in the minds of these people, their emotional sensitivity, their problems, their treatments, their disorders.

Creo que a lo largo de la obra, si escuchamos bien, nos compenetramos con cada personaje, buscamos entender su caos, y podemos llegar a sentir empatía con ellas. Pero en medio del caos, hay un momento, en que se dirigen a ti, con palabras que penetran la mente y pasamos de ser espectadores a ver por un momento de nosotros mismos “ ¿Cuándo vas a usar tu cuerpo, cuando estés surcado por las arrugas, cuando te cueste trabajo mover los brazos? ” estas palabras son como un gran golpe, o una sacudida de cabeza y definitivamente quedan allí dando vueltas en nuestra mente, al final , creo que para cada quien puede significar algo distinto.

I believe that throughout the play, if we listen well, we empathize with each character, we seek to understand their chaos, and we can empathize with them. But in the middle of the chaos, there is a moment, when they address you, with words that penetrate the mind and we go from being spectators to see for a moment of ourselves " When are you going to use your body, when you are furrowed by wrinkles, when you find it hard to move your arms? " these words are like a big blow, or a shake of the head and definitely stay there spinning in our mind, in the end, I think for everyone it can mean something different.

En cuanto a la interpretación de las actrices, personalmente me encantó y es que cada una destaca por sus capacidades y como son utilizadas como recurso en la obra, Alexandra, actriz con muchos años de trayectoria, también dedicada a la enseñanza de las artes escénicas, sorprende con su capacidad histriónica, un caracterización que en lo personal como espectador y estudiante de teatro es impecable, hay perfección en su actuación; Michelle, bailarina de danza contemporánea maneja una corporalidad que comunica e impacta al mismo tiempo, verla moverse en escena es algo único ,y por último María José cantante, deleita y sorprende con su canto, lamentablemente no pude grabar algunos fragmentos sublimes de su canto.

Alexandra, an actress with many years of experience, also dedicated to teaching the performing arts, surprises with her histrionic ability, a characterization that personally as a spectator and theater student is impeccable, there is perfection in her performance; Michelle, a contemporary dancer, manages a corporality that communicates and impacts at the same time, watching her move on stage is unique, and finally María José singer, delights and surprises with her singing, unfortunately I could not record some sublime fragments of her singing.

Justo al momento de escribir este texto, ellas están llevando a cabo su tercera y última función, y pienso que son afortunados quienes conocen o han descubierto el deleite de presenciar una buena obra de teatro. Sin importar su género o estilo, pues realmente son muchos los tipos de teatro que existen.

El teatro es efímero, es ese momento allí en donde suceden un montón de cosas frente a ti, pero el registro para mi tiene valor, y me da gusto compartirles breves fragmentos de lo que fue la Obra de Espejos.
