Como ya les comenté antes, bailé durante mucho tiempo y mi amor por la danza sigue intacto, pues fueron muchos bailando y entregando todo de mí en este arte tan bonito que es la danza nacionalista. Es por esto que hoy les traigo este bonito recuerdo.

Siempre, durante todos los años que bailé, siempre era en este mes de agosto que se realizaban las galas de fin de año, justo por estas fechas, y este año se cumplen 9 años de la primera presentación de ésta coreografía llamada "Entre mar y arena", una malagueña que habla sobre el Estado Nueva Esparta y su mar, su costa.
Always, during all the years that I danced, it was always in this month of August that the end of the year galas took place, just around this time, and this year is the 9th anniversary of the first presentation of this choreography called "Entre mar y arena", a Malagueña that talks about the State of Nueva Esparta and its sea, its coast.
Este género conocido como malagueña es de origen europeo pero con algunas adaptaciones de la música tradicional venezolana, expresamente del oriente del país, donde se asocia con algunas tradiciones populares de esta región.

Este baile empezaba con el sonido de las olas del mar y por esta razón utilizábamos unos mantos que las reflejaban, las cestas reflejaban el trabajo de las vendedoras de la costa y con el movimiento del cuerpo y la enagua, expresabamos el sentir de la música.
This dance began with the sound of the waves of the sea and for this reason we used cloaks that reflected them, the baskets reflected the work of the vendors of the coast and with the movement of the body and the petticoat, we expressed the feeling of the music.
Ésta fue una de mis coreografías favoritas y la verdad fue muy especial. La bailamos muchísimas veces, en el teatro e incluso en escuelas, porque siempre nos invitaban cuando habían eventos y la mayoría del tiempo nos llevaban a nosotras.
This was one of my favorite choreographies and it was really special. We danced it many times, in the theater and even in schools, because we were always invited when there were events and most of the time they took us.
Hoy conseguí este recuerdo de la primera vez que presentamos esta coreografía y pensé en compartirlo en esta plataforma. Todavía recuerdo la coreografía aunque la verdad son muy pocas las que no recuerdo, ya saben que amo el baile.
Today I got this souvenir of the first time we presented this choreography and I thought I would share it on this platform. I still remember the choreography although the truth is there are very few that I don't remember, you know I love dancing.
