Es war mein Freund Heribert, der mich auf den Geschmack brachte, Drohnenpilot zu werden.
Ich bereitete gerade einen Gitarrenkurs zum Thema „Albatros“ von Fleetwooc Mac vor und arbeitete an einem anschaulichen Video für meine Schüler dafür. Da bat ich Heribert, mir aus seinem Urlaub am Meer Drohnenvideos mitzubringen und erzählte ihm von meiner Idee, ein Video zu „Albatros“ mit Flugaufnahmen zu gestalten.
Damals, 2015, beherrschte ich die Chroma Key Technik des Filmschnittes noch nicht, ja, ich hatte nicht einmal ein Programm dafür.
So filmte ich „Albatros“ im Proberaum und gab meinen Schülern CDs, mit denen sie das Stück mitüben konnten. Mit Heriberts Drohnenvideos bereicherte ich das Video.

It was my friend Heribert who got me interested in becoming a drone pilot.
I was preparing a Fleetwooc Mac Albatross guitar course and I was working on an illustrative video for my students. So I asked Heribert to bring me drone videos from his vacation by the sea and told him about my idea of making a video for "Albatross" with aerial footage.
Back then, in 2015, I didn't yet master the chroma key technique of film editing, in fact I didn't even have a program for it.
So I filmed "Albatros" in the rehearsal room and gave my students CDs with which they could practice the piece. I enriched the video with Heribert's drone videos.
