Hiking in Vienna 🍂 (Important thought about our Hive Meetup in Vienna)

Heute sind die Wellen hochgegangen wegen dem Hive-Meetup in Wien. Mir und anderen Hivern wurde zu Unrecht vorgeworfen, dass wir es nicht schaffen würden, Accounts für neue User zu erstellen. Ich kann euch aber versichern, das Gegenteil ist der Fall.

Hive account@manncpt setzt sich seit Jahren für die Community ein, organisiert regelmäßig Meetups, bringt Leute zu Hive, überweist ihnen HBD, delegiert HP, macht Einschulungen und erstellt hinter den Kulissen mit der Hilfe von anderen hilfsbereiten Hivern (inklusive mir) Accounts für die neuen User.

Und diese ganze Arbeit macht er quasi ehrenamtlich, dezentral, für die gute Sache, für die Blockchain, für Hive, die letztendlich allen zugutekommt.

Zuletzt wurde er dafür kritisiert, dass die Meetups nach dem langen Lockdown wieder in Lokalen stattfinden, wo die 2G-Regel gelte.

Für die aktuellen Corona-Regeln kann aber manncpt nichts. Alternativ bietet er daher die Möglichkeit, sich auch online zu den Meetups dazuzuschalten zu können.

Sobald das Wetter auch wieder wärmer wird, könnten wir uns wie vorgeschlagen auch im Freien treffen.

Ich kritisiere die Maßnahmen auch regelmäßig, und finde die ganzen Lockdowns nicht für verhältnismäßig, bin aber ein Befürworter der Impfung, möglichst freiwillig. Aber das sollte jetzt nicht das Thema sein. Da hat jeder eine eigene Meinung dazu.

Wie gesagt, der Organisator der Meetups kann für die aktuellen Maßnahmen nichts und wir sollten uns als kleine Krypto-Community nicht spalten lassen / gegenseitig ausspielen, beleidigen, untergriffig werden, sondern zusammenhalten und das Beste aus der Situation machen, die ohnehin schon absurd genug ist.

Hoffe, wir können einen gangbaren Weg finden, wie alle Hiver bei den Meetups teilnehmen können.

Today the emotions went up because of our regular Hive Meetups in Vienna. I and other Hivers were wrongly accused that we would not able to create accounts for new users. But I can assure all of you, the opposite is the case.

Hive account@manncpt has been involved in the community for years and regularly organizes meetups, brings people to Hive, transfers them HBD, delegates HP, does training and creates accounts for the new users behind the scenes with the help of other helpful Hivers, including me.

And he does all this work voluntarily, in a decentralized way, for the good cause, for the blockchain, for Hive, which ultimately benefits everyone.

Most recently, he was criticized for having the meetups back in venues where the 2G rule applies (recovered or vaccinated requirement to visit bars and restaurants in Austria) after the long lockdown.

However, manncpt is not responsible for the current Corona rules in Austria. He even offers the possibility to join the Meetups online.

As soon as the weather gets warmer again, we could also meet outdoors as suggested.

I also regularly criticize the measures, and don't think lockdowns are proportionate, but I am a proponent of voluntary vaccines and medication. But that shouldn't be the topic right now. Everyone has their own opinion on that.

As I said, the organizer of the meetups can't do anything for the current measures and we as a small crypto community should not let ourselves be divided / play off / insult each other, but stick together and make the best out of the situation, which is absurd enough as it is.

Hope we can find a viable way for all Hivers to join the meetups.
