Probably, I am against the rebranding.

Of course, calling the chain Hive was a big mistake - because generic.

However, renaming now can lead to even worse consequences - we have no able organizational body to lead the rebranding, and the rebranding might become another disaster that will literally bury Hive.

You can rebrand when you are strong and when you have an efficient team, and we aren't strong and don't have such a team.

The only hope - another surge in the HIVE price to support the blockchain for several more years, and hopefully some Hive project will take off.

We need more profit-focused projects, better ones that don't need support from Hive Fund or need limited support just at the very beginning. AI can help, and it actually helps already.

We need a project people will really want, better in a field that isn't yet competitive.

If some Hive project takes off, it will need perfect branding/re-branding.

Hive itself probably should stay Hive. If its price starts growing as a result of successful Hive projects, traders will easily remember this name and start buying.
