CINEMA POPCORN: A DAY TO SHARE A MOVIE ON HIVE ποΈπΏπ¬
This space is for us to share a movie with the community, either by leaving it in the comments or making a publication (tagging
and leaving the #cinemapopcorn). In this way, next week I would share a film of you with the community. They are my wishes for this space, so far it is only me with you, and well the idea is a film myself and one of the community.
Happy Sunday everyone, today I bring you a jewel of the German cinema of the year 2006: The Lives of Others (German: Das Leben der Anderen) directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck. The film begins with a flashback of Stasi captain Gerd Wiesler mercilessly but effectively interrogating the neighbor of a man who escaped to the West (to West Germany). Later, Wiesler goes to see a play written by Georg Dreyman with actress Christa-Maria Sieland and suggests to his superiors that Dreyman is not as upright a citizen as he seems and therefore should be monitored. This is how the plot begins and it will progress, showing us the horror of living under the oppression of a system in which you do not have rights of any kind.
This film meant an awakening personally, because I lived in a dictatorship and I also had to exile myself from my country. For all those people who for one reason or another have to leave their country, to all those who in one way or another have experienced the oppression of a dictatorship, this post is dedicated to everyone. Also, next November 9 will be the 32nd anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, it is a way for me to celebrate that victory that should never be forgotten. I wish you a beautiful week, I hug you.
