Although it was not among the best animations I have watched, it was a very enjoyable and entertaining animation. Pixar animation studios are truly number one in the world for this business. It's a beautiful fantasy world.
For some reason, animated films are much more emotional, much more meaningful. Maybe because it tells stories about impossible people. It speaks to us, but the characters are not us. So they're not realistic and they're even more message and emotional than regular movies.
Mice are the species that we find unsympathetic and even repulsive to many people today, but the events in animation develop so sincerely that the negative aspects are replaced by beauty, cuteness and innocence!
Ratatouille is a charming and enjoyable animated film from Pixar that tells the story of a young mouse named Remy who dreams of becoming a chef. Despite facing countless difficulties and obstacles, Remy is determined to follow his passion and becomes the unlikely hero of the movie.
Remy has a unique talent for cooking and is constantly experimenting with new flavors and ingredients. However, his family does not support his dreams as they are content to live with the scraps they collect from the people they live with. The film is about the journey of the mouse Remy, who lives with his family in a country house in Paris.
Remy leaves his family one day and finds himself in the bustling city of Paris. He is immediately impressed by the smells and flavors of the city and is determined to make a name for himself as a chef.
Remy finds himself at the restaurant of Auguste Gusteau, a famous chef who believes anyone can cook. Remy befriends a young garbage boy named Linguini who works at the restaurant, and together they devise a plan to help Remy become a chef. Linguini pretends to be the restaurant's head chef, while Remy secretly controls his movements from under his special hat.
It's about Remy and Linguini trying to keep their secrets from being revealed while trying to win the heart of food critic Anton Ego, who is known for turning restaurants upside down with his harsh criticism.
One of the highlights of the movie is the stunning animation that brings the bustling city of Paris to life in vivid and colorful detail. The character design is also top notch, with each character having their own unique personality and quirks. Patton Oswalt gives an unforgettable performance as Remy and the voice acting with Peter Sohn as Linguini is also excellent.
Ratatouille's story is refreshing and inspiring as it tells the story of a young mouse who refuses to let his circumstances get in the way of him. Remy's dedication and passion for cooking is contagious, and it's impossible not to support him as he pursues his dreams.
An enjoyable and heartwarming film that will surely delight audiences of all ages. It is a testament to the power of determination and the importance of following one's dreams, no matter how unlikely they may seem. Whether you're a fan of animation or simply a fan of great storytelling, Ratatouille is a movie not to be missed.
