A few days ago I watched Zootopia 2 and to be honest I didn't expect the sequel to be this good. The film is interesting and entertaining, has a faster and more emotional story, but still with the same warmth that the first part had.
Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are the perfect tandem. Their energy, humor and way of communication simply drew me into the story and if at the beginning I thought it would be boring to watch this movie. I had the impression that I was watching something that was family-friendly, funny and very clever at the same time.
What I liked the most was how they expanded the world of Zootopia. The city looks more alive than before, the animation is better, and the new characters bring freshness to the film. The film also deals with more serious topics, but in a way that is easy for both children and adults to follow.
Simply put, I'm thrilled. What stood out to me in particular was the balance of humor and message. There are scenes that made me laugh out loud, but also a few moments that made me think — about tolerance, trust and how important it is for everyone to have their place in the world.
My impression of the film is that it is so good, fast and dynamic, without idling. The characters are great, both old and new. The message of the film seems sincere and necessary in today's time. The animation is fantastic, every frame is full of detail. The humor is spot on and really works. I didn't expect to like the sequel this much, but after watching it I got the feeling that the team that worked on the film had a lot of love for the original. And that can be seen in every part of the film.
I would recommend the movie to everyone to watch If you like animated movies or just want something light, positive and beautifully done Zootopia 2 is a great choice for you. I watched it quite casually and left the cinema smiling more than when I entered. The movie has soul, it has style and it left me with a good feeling.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this animated movie especially if you are a fan of animated movies.
