Warner Bros, Pictures co-CEOs Mike De Luca and Pam Abdi confirm Beetlejuice sequel after the success of its second film
It's no secret that Beetlejuice II was a huge success, coming more than thirty years after the release of the first film. With a budget of $100 million, the film grossed over $451 million at the global box office.
This remarkable success seems to have prompted Warner Bros. Pictures to seriously consider producing a third part, and it appears to be on the verge of happening.
During an interview with Deadline , Warner Bros. Pictures co-CEOs Mike De Luca and Pam Abdi revealed the company's upcoming plans, which include reviving a number of classic titles and introducing new installments of popular hits. Among the most notable revelations was their confirmation that Beetlejuice 3 is on the horizon. Mike De Luca said:
The ink may not be dry on the deals yet, but it's coming.
This reflects the company's enthusiasm and optimism about the return of the Beetlejuice series with a third installment, although final details have yet to be finalized.
