Hive account@papacrusher here, and I just wanted to apologize in the delay in posting the results of the most recent contest. Our current editor has been tied up with some other matters and could not get to it. In this post we will only announce the winners of contest #17 and then this coming Wednesday we will publish contest #18 and get back on our normal contest schedule. Again, I am extremely sorry for the delay and for veering off our normal contest schedule. With no further delay, here are the winners from last weeks contest!
Just as a quick reminder, last week's contest tasked you all with revealing who your favorite actor or actress was and to give some explanation to why they hold that position in your hearts and minds. We had some riveting entries and some really epic giants in the industry were represented in your posts. And while I was moved by so many of your beautifully worded entries, we can only have three winners.
First Place
Hive account@justclickindiva choose one of my favorite actors in here contest entry CineTV Contest #17 : MY FAVORITE ACTOR - Denzel Washington. She expounded so eloquently all the myriad of reasons to why this award-winning thespian holds such a dear and noble place in our hearts. His talent in undeniable and that would be enough to make him a favorite to many people, but he also a genuinely good person and has so much wisdom about life.
Second place
In second place, we have one of my favorite CineTV contributors who recently joined our writing ranks, 
Hive account@thunderjack. He has such a unique perspective on film and cinema and took us back a few years to give us a peak at his favorite actors in his entry, CineTV Contest: Three of My Favorite Actors. If you are a true Star Trek fan you would HAVE to agree with at least one of his selections!
Third place
Rounding out our winners this week was 
Hive account@nbarrios67 and his superb choice of Charlton Heston as he explains why in his post CineTV Contest #17 - My favorite actor: Charlton Heston. Few actors can boast the amount of impactful screen time as the prolific Mr. Heston and his range is phenomenal. Many people do not realize that I Am Legend is a remake of a Charlton Heston classic, The Omega Man and it happens to be one of my favorite classic movies!
