A principios del año 2014, se estrenaba en Cuba, la película " Conducta" un melodrama extenso de casi dos horas de duración, escrita y dirigida por el cineasta y dramaturgo cubano, Ernesto Daranas.
Yo, que me declaro fan de la filmografía cubana, reconozco que la película me sorprendió sobremanera; con un guión de parlamentos atrevidos, tanto la interpretación actoral como el perfil psicológico de los personajes, se me antoja concebidos con precisión quirúrgica.
Toda la trama no es más que un conjunto de situaciones que convergen en una escuela primaria de la Habana, cuba, huérfana tanto de sueños como de soluciones para el complejo entramado social que padece.
Dos personajes sobresalen en el filme: Chala, un preadolescente que sufre todos los abandonos posibles; sin padre conocido, con una madre alcohólica y drogadicta, un circuito socioeducativo, dispuesto a juzgar y condenar antes que entender y rescatar. Ese es el personaje defendido por Armando Valdés, que, a mi juicio, se llevó los aplausos por la seriedad y magnífica ejecución del personaje.
La maestra Carmela; interpretada por la primerísima actriz Alina
Rodríguez, una maestra que conoce y comprende el entorno social adverso en el que vive Chala, quien tiene que asumir responsabilidades por encima de su edad.
El propio nombre del filme, es en sí mismo, un símil del estatus cívico cubano. La suma de las negligentes conductas de ciudadanos y entes sociales, carentes de valores morales, con un desapego ético de la esencia de sus funciones, incide negativamente en la conducta de Chala. Es en ese marco donde mejor brilla el personaje antagónico de Carmela.
Ella es quien comprende sin prejuicios los conflictos que enfrentan sus alumnos, en especial, el de Chala. Ella considera que una escuela reformatorio, sólo exacerbaría la ya marcada rebeldía del niño son las palabras de Carmela las que llevan el peso dramático y filosófico del drama y que establecen una denuncia activa contra todas las formas del poder y sus manifestaciones.
Vi, en cada personaje, a muchos conocidos; encaracolados en sus funciones o sufriendo a causa de su propia conducta.
