Hey guys
today its time for The lord of the rings: The two towers review and fun facts.
• In terms of direction, the film is excellent, just like its predecessor. There are things here too that the film does exceptionally well. Like for example the visual effects of the living trees and the form of Gollum, which creates a sense of disgust and creepiness at the same time.
• In terms of script, the film is a bit - non-faithful - in relation to the books and the trilogy.
• The acting in the film is at a high level. And here we have to admit that one of the best performances of the film is Andy Serkis as Golum who creates a sense of disgust and creepiness but at the same time gives you a sense of fear.
Obviously the whole cast from the protagonists, to the last orc.
For me this movie has the most nostalgic scenes of my teen years.
Every time i watch it it reminds me of The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth game. I have spend so many hours playing that game with my friends and the campaign mode. And the most hours was trying to pass the battle of helms deep fuck that was hard.
Some fun facts about the movie:
1)The battle of helms deep took 120 days to film.
- The rain was real and it was raining for 90 days
- The battle scene used real people
