My Hero Academia is a show set in a fictional world, A show with many villains, but in my opinion, there was one who was bigger than the show itself. One villain who entered the story for a few episodes and ended up shaping the entire show's ideology more than the stars ever did. I’m talking about Stain, the Hero Killer. The character who walked into Season 2 spoke the truth that hero society and walked out like gigachad.

I connected with Stain because of his ideology. Stain, the hero killer, isn't some ultra-powerful avenger-level threat. On the power scale, he was nowhere near the other villains, but bro was just so angry with society that he went on a killing spree just to prove the point and bring attention to something that society has been ignoring.
Stain doesn't want power, revenge or some sadistic guy; he was just a guy who called out the hypocrisy of the hero society. And a villain feels more human when he is right. Like how heroes have become big celebrities and how they've been so consumed with their own popularity that service to society is no longer the priority. And how Hero rankings mattered more than helping people. And this is something we (at least I) experience in the real world. If I were to rant about everything wrong with today's society, this would turn into a political post real soon. Let's avoid that for now. Back to Stain. He used violence to convey his thoughts.
To top it off, I think he was written better than the heroes themselves. With lines like “A fake hero is worse than a villain,” and “Idiot… vengeance is for the weak,” only a gigachad villain can rock such heavy statements, and he did. And what a character, he inspired heroes and villains. We have Deku, Shoto, and that engine legs guy, all were influenced by Stain. And the same for the members of the villain league. You know what I find funny, that there was a character that matched up to stain in the series, but both never crossed paths.
I am talking about Lemillion. Dude is the perfect Ideological counter to Stain. He was what stain want every hero wants to be. Selfless, putting people first and ready to self-sacrifice. And Lemillion did all that in season 4, dude gave up his quirk to save Eri, and even with a massive power disadvantage, kept fighting Overhaul (Another scary Villain), no backup and no hesitation. I think Lemillion checks off all the boxes in the Stains perfect hero list, too bad they never crossed paths. It would have been a massive ideological fight. I say we missed something awesome.
