Hello friends movie lovers, this time I want to join the contest, about movies related to trials, which is being promoted by the CineTV community. The truth is that I have seen very few movies about trials, maybe only one, in fact I loved it and that is why I want to participate with this movie.
Changeling is a drama film based on a true story, specifically the Wineville Crimes. It was produced in 2008, directed by the legendary Clint Eastwood and starring the famous Angelina Jolie, which was a great success. It had a budget of US$ 55,000,000 and grossed US$ 113,020,255. On the IMDb portal it obtained a rating of 7.8 out of 10.
This film tells the story of a series of abductions and murders of children in the city of Los Angeles during the 1920s. Our protagonist Christine, is a victim of the perpetrator and goes to the police to file a complaint, but this police force is completely corrupt and controlled by the mafia, so unable to locate the kidnapped child, they look for another child to deliver it to Christine and look good in front of the media. This trial is extremely exciting, the lies of the police force are gradually crumbling, and Christine's lawyer only with the truth on his side manages to completely disarm the theater of the police. Emphasis is placed on how our protagonist was confined in a psychiatric hospital with the snap of a finger, without any medical evaluation, while in parallel it was discovered in the outskirts of the city the place where a large number of children remained kidnapped, which were gradually killed by the criminal and where apparently would have found Walter, Christine's son. This film although it generates satisfaction knowing that justice was done, it is extremely sad and leaves you with a feeling of emptiness, as Christine never got her son back and waited and held out hope throughout her life that one day her son would return.

En este momento es inevitable para el espectador que se erice la piel, al sentir la emoción de como la verdad se impone y se hace justicia destituyendo al jefe de la policía y todo su comité de corruptos y mafiosos y más aún al saber que se trata de una historia real.
Pero los juicios no terminan aquí, posteriormente se da paso al juicio para acusar a Gordon el criminal que cometió los secuestros y asesinatos, quien muestra un gran desequilibrio mental, y es incapaz de emitir una declaración coherente, lo cual genera en Christine la esperanza de que este hombre realmente no hubiese asesinado a su hijo pues algunos niños lograron escapar de allí, pero finalmente es declarado culpable y condenado a la horca.
