Recently, I talked about the first season of the American series "You". I already watched the second season, which also consists of 10 episodes. New heroes appear in the second season. Cast: Penn Badgley, Victoria Pedretti, James Scully, Jenna Ortega and other.
The main character, who committed a lot of crime in the first season, moves from New York to Los Angeles to change his life, start from scratch. He "steals" the identity of another man and with a new name gets a job in a store (on a book stand). Here he immediately meets an attractive girl and, according to his usual pattern, begins to take an interest in her. But in his plans - to be a good person, not to do evil. But something does not go according to plan and already at the start the man has many new problems.
But a relationship with a new girl begins and now the main character intends to be really good. But by the end of the season, the viewer will understand that not everything is so simple and that not only the main character does bad things.
There is a lot of crime, murder, and, to my surprise, everyone gets away with it. They killed one person, got rid of the body and wake up the next morning as if nothing had happened, living their lives. It seems that it is so normal, as if going to the cinema is committing a murder. That's what I don't like about this series. But you have to understand that the series is about a sick person, so in principle it is clear why he does all these bad things so easily and continues to live as if nothing had happened.
Source In this season, star Jenna Ortega appears, she plays a 15-year-old girl here.
To be honest, I didn't like season 2. There was too much crime and no empathy for the heroes at all, because of this I no longer had. I think it was possible to end the series with one season, but there are already 4 of them. Since I've already watched half of it, I just don't want to give up and have to watch it to the end. But if you are not too fond of the crime thriller genre, don't watch. Also, I still don't really understand the core values of this movie.
Thank you for your attention, everyone have a good movie! 🎞
