We are prisoners. And the cell in which we are locked in is our minds. There's little difference between a sane person and an insane one, apart from physical appearance. It's the ability to differentiate which is reality, that's the difference between a sane and insane human.
This contest had me going through thousands of movies I've watched in my head. I was pacing all around my room for minutes, trying to figure out which I should write cause there were numerous movies to talk about and at the same time not. I've watched a lot of movies but I settled for this one;Shutter Island.

Shutter Island is a psychological thriller, a 2010 movie and a really good one. It revolves round the character Edward Teddy Daniels played by Leonardo DiCaprio. Teddy is a US marshal sent on a task to recover a missing patient from an aslyum. This asylum is called Ashecliffe hospital for the criminally insane and it's found on shutter island. Teddy and his partner Chuck Aule started their jobs at investigating on the situation of the missing female patient, Rachel Solando. Rachel Solando had drowned her three children and brought them to the dinning for dinner. She was sent to the hospital after this incident.
Teddy was determined to find Andrew Laeddis, the man who set his house on fire with his wife in it. Andrew Laeddis was criminally insane and he was also the key to uncovering the hidden things going on in the facility. Teddy believes there were some illegal experiments going on somewhere in the facility,he got this information from a patient that used to be in the hospital,George Noyce..

Turns out Teddy was a delusion. A different reality created by Andrew Laeddis where he wasn't a murderer. Andrew had created another reality,in it he was a hero,a Us marshal on a task to solve and stop crime but in the real world he had killed his wife because she drowned their three children.
When I say I couldn't think straight for days,it was terrible. I was utterly defeated in trying predict the plot. Every thing I tried to predict,I was terribly wrong. This movie had one of the greatest surprises and plot twist I'd ever seen my entire life.
The acting was incredible and captivating. I was made a fool a lot,the movie made me believe a different reality and trashed my prediction skills completely. Overall I'd give it 8.5/10.
It's definitely worth watching.
