Since I have decided to give some Anime more of a chance I have found some which once I look past the cover and description aren't all that bad.
One like that is Call of the Night, it does not seem like my usual kickass type of Anime but I got through 2 Episodes and did not mind the lack of death at all.
Now any show in our times is best watched once it has been completed, that way you avoid the stupid episodic wait.
However, if you don't realise it has not completed a season then you bite your tongue and wait.
One of those might just be
MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES
It only has 2 Episodes out so far, but if the writers can keep it up then even if no one dies or any epic battles ensue it will be one of the funniest shows I have seen.
Basically the main dude can't do magic. In a world where anyone who can't do magic quickly gets removed from existence; He was fortunate enough to have been hidden until grown up and then with a turn of events gets tasked to infiltrate the top magic school in the world.
Since all magic people conveniently have a face mark that says "Hey I do magic" that is simple enough. To get past the initial tests for entry though, the kid showcases why he might not even need magic.
The dude is just insanely strong, and absolutely dim witted, and more over so oblivious to the world that anything he does just turns into the funniest shit as everyone else loses it. Like eating a creampuff after destroying a mega magical being and musing why these magical people don't seem to just do normal things like using their hands to pick things up.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc
A favourite of mine, Demon Slayer, happens to have a new series also. This was a nice find as I perused trying to remember what the name of the next Anime on this list is because I could have sworn I wanted to keep watching.
So this is more of a note, this season of Demon Slayer already looks like it will be a banger as the main dude is going to be facing more of the Top Rank demons. Whether he will face off against the main badass I don't know but I am sure they will rub noses at some point.
DRIFTERS
The only one on this list that seems to be complete or at least has a complete season to start; Unless you have not seen Demon Slayer then you have 3 seasons before the newest.
Drifters is a pretty cool concept, by the looks of it there are two other dimension beings having some form of a war. One is obviously dark the other is light.
The form of the war seems to be each battling over timelines using heroic figures and or evil figures from across history to fight it out.
Whether predetermined or just the last front, all these heroes from Billy the Kid to Joan of Arc gets transported to another world at the moment of their death and just dropped into the fray.
Once they join this active battle world they are unknowns. Not even the good or bad side know which side their recruit will be until the recruit starts fighting for either side.
I am not too far in but think the premise is unique enough and the action keeps good pace. So looking forward to see how it turns out.
It is a given that all 3 have very good art styles which helps to choke down some filler parts if need be.
