It's a huge gamble when a movie industry tried to make a show that isn't in their particular niche. One that's tend to bring in a lot of mentions, talks, critique and the rest.

This show I think set the MCU universe in a rather new light. The fact that it was so different from their norm.
Mixing action and coming of age, with the sprinkle of Islamic culture, it would be no exaggeration to say this was just an experiment....that became a huge successπ₯π€―

We're all taken into the life of a 16 year old (removing Peter Parker from the youngest marvel superhero π), Muslim American girl. A girl who's been a major fan of superheroes her entire life, especially Captain Marvel.
After obtaining powers that are somewhat resembling her idol's, she immediately begins thinking of how to use them for good, yet some troubles lie in her path.
The fact that it's a rather simple over-used plot yet it's do easy to get engrossed in is just brilliant.

The lead character Kamila Kahn played by Iman Vellani was simply a fans favorite, and that's because she was played so well. The fact that this is Iman's debut show is easily a jaw breaker.
Other casts indeed brought life to their characters making them more relatable β¨π.

This was indeed a great touch, it really brought a lot of colour to the otherwise overused plot.
The Pakistani-Islamic references brought into the film really increased the depth of the plot and general story. It was just a wonderful touch π.

A new show, starring a new actress and directed by new directors, it's just so intriguing.
Overall the first season was great, a solid 8 stars, I wonder what Marvel would cook for the second season ππ₯
