Okay, recently my first love in Bollywood has released his movie entitled, Pathaan, after 4th years of hiatus from big screen, Shah Rukh Khan. For many years has called by King of Romance, this year, Shah Rukh staring a action movie alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham as a villain.
Okay, let me talking about Pathaan and how I changed my prespective about this movie.
First of all, I have a big hate with this movie cause the teaser exploited Deepika Padukone on Bikini and I have no interest anymore with Shah Rukh Khan since his last movie, Zero. I thought I got bored with Shah Rukh Khan role, so I upset with him due that childish reason. The one and only thing that made me interest about this movie since their first announcement is John Abraham as a villain. More than that, I saw that John Abraham has a good manner for being a villain in these movie. You know why, in Bollywood, not many actors which is big name would join in a movie with a another big name, cause their ego said, who would look at me when other big name there is on this movie? So yeah, I have to sending much love for John Abraham cause he never care about who is the hero?
Okay, I thought a intermezzo was enough. Let me real talking about Pathaan!
A Third Movie of Spy Series in YRF Universe
Since Marvel and DC Universe being a kind of trend who is insprited all movie industry include Bollywood, Yash Raj Films, a big production house in India, make their selves universe named Spy Universe. Before Pathaan, there are Ek Tha Tiger and War, so Pathaan is the third francises.
The first scene is when Article 370 which is set the regulates border matters between Jammu and Kashmir have been revoked by Indian Goverment, General Qadir being angry. He then calling Jim (John Abraham) to set a plan to destroy India. Then there is Pathaan as a agent of Joint Operation and Covert Research (JOCR) assigned to stop Jim's plan. At that time there is a President and scientists convoy in Dubai, instead attacking the President convoy, Jim kidnapped the duo scientist to Raaktbeej mission. It was a biological attack that would infect everyone with deadly smallpox. For stop Jim, Pathaan met Rubina Mohsin, A Pakistani Doctor who is betrayed Jim as Outfit X.
In short, Unfortunately, when Pathaan get the mastermind of Raaktbeej, Rubai betrayed him. Actually, Rubai is not betrayed Jim, cause she is on Pakistan team.
I think you guys have to watching this movie with yourself cause it's very good and entertaining movie.
Throught this movie, Shah Rukh Khan has delivered fans longing of his performances.
Now I wanna talking about my prespective changes. At the first I just hate this movie cause Deepika, my fav heroine get too much exploitation in this movie. She wore Bikini in a song, which is she unneed to looks naked to have good performances in a movies cause she is a diva. The trailer has shown her gesture like a b*tch and I don't like that. I love Deepika in Saree, or beautiful and casual dress not in Bikini, so yeah I hate this movie and planned to never watch Pathaan.
But, when the movie has released, I have a gloomy feeling so I take my time to watch alone in cinemas. Cause I have free ticket to watch Pathaan, I watched it!
After watched Pathaan, I become a Shah Rukh Khan fan again hahaha.. He has good performance here even though there a many scenes has unlogical line, like how can two peoples fight on the top of truck without shaking even a little. So yeah! Just Bollywood could do that!
Oh, besides, I thought the Pathaan plot like mix of Race, Dhoom and War movie. No wonder, cause Dhoom, Race and War are the movies produced by YRF too, so it's like not original movie in the plot side. Maybe it's also cause there is John Abraham here. FYI, John Abraham also starred Dhoom and Race movie, so that's why the vibe looks same. And yup, John Abraham the great villain in Bollywood, I have to praise him!
But the scene that made me screaming was a scene when Salman Khan as Tiger entry the movie. I know that Salman would become a cameo in Pathaan Universe since YRF announced Pathaan will be third franchise after Tiger and War movies, but yeah I still screaming and such nostalgic with their first movie together back then, it was Karan Arjun. Hahaha...
But it is not that Bad! I really enjoyed this movie cause still have a good message. I give 4 star from 5 star, interesting.
