Rumi
Seeking spiritual, emotional, and intellectual growth is the key theme of Rumi's compositions. His writings inspired a lot of people around the world. I personally like his philosophy and representation of that through his poems.
I like to compose poems; I don't know if it is the reason or something else that I adore him the most. If you are a regular reader of my poems, you can easily find the subtle theme of Journey that inspired me to write something about it.
Today, I will try to discuss his noteworthy discourses that compliment his overall theme of journey and spirituality. Rumi observes the metaphorical journey towards divine love and spirituality. His compositions often give us the subtle idea of self discovery and inner transformation.
Every traveller tries to embark the search for a deeper connection with the divine. Simple facts and incidents have their own significance related to the spiritual connection of the self. Rumi's writings make us think about that important connection with each other.
The pursuit of love is another favourite stuff of mine by Rumi. He intentionally put some literary comparisons and explorations to establish his idea of making us believe that love itself is also a profound journey. Through this journey, lovers can discover their true self and the ecstatic union with the beloved seeking the quest. Sometimes, the love was portrayed as human or divine by Rumi.
I tried to write on the same theme; but unfortunately I think I couldn’t meet the required visionary inclination with my reader. However, when I write those poems I feel some kind of inner satisfaction about what I love to encounter. Everyday I am improving and trying to gear up my core inclination toward poetry composition. I was irregular posting here on hive due to my busy schedule of my teaching career.
However, now I know about my passion which is composing any kind of creative writing stuff. That is where I find inspiration from Rumi. His philosophy and style of encounter with poetry makes me amazed and overwhelmed at the same time. I enjoy this subtle kind of feelings and try to keep pace with it..
Transcending the physical boundaries is another important aspect about Rumi's composition. His notion of journey tries to transcend the physical, emotional and spiritual journey at the same time. His suggestion is simple; which is to make his reader break free from the constraints of worldly existence and explores the vast expanses of the heart and spirit.
Mystic adventure is often found in his poems and he often refers to pilgrimage to express his quest for divine and spirituality. The subtle search of inner quest for meaning and purpose of life. If an individual searches for their inner discovery of landscape and surely he would discover the precious treasures of their soul.
Sometimes I get this feeling that the journey of the soul and love knows no limits. Rumi wrote several poems encouraging readers to break free from the constraints of worldly existence and explore the vast expanses of the heart and spirituality that awaits the wanderer.
His writings are often treated as a mystic read. If you've read some of his translated works like me and bewildered with his vision; I must mention here about Sufism! It is one kind of spiritual practice which enables an individual to transcend with the divine.
Every poet is a searcher and I believe that this acute understanding ignites a poetic self. Finding and searching againg they become master of the art of portraying creation. And if the poet knows the secret, he will know that it is he what he seeks. Rumi often referred this notion of self awarness and importance of spirituality within.
The transformative power of exploration,
love, and self-discovery are the true treatment
for a spiritual voyage.
But I just want ti wish for every poetic self
would be thee..... Rumi!
