It's been two months or more that I haven't had hangouts with my friends properly. Too many reasons, many of us are busy with our own stresses, and it's getting hard to manage some time together for a proper hangout. I would say I am getting more and more homesick, which is one of the top reasons.
So I was bored of sticking to the house for days. Suddenly I realized that I should get out of home, some free time to have some fresh air. Initially, I made a plan to go to bed early tonight and wake up early the next morning. Pretty hard one for me, but I thought of executing this. And then my phone rang, and one of my buddies offered to have a ride with him as he had some important things to discuss with me. It was almost 9.00 pm, so the city was getting empty, and that's a good idea to spend some time outside now. Yeah, throughout the whole day, it's very chaotic outside; things start to heal at night, and silence and peace are everywhere.
Within ten minutes, I shut down everything, changed my outfits to go out, and boom. We were looking for a calm place to have our conversations as he had something "very important" to discuss; he needed my opinion and often did that. The wheels kept on rolling for almost thirty minutes; by then, we were almost out of our city and into the village roads. Usually, these villages are the best place for us to escape the chaotic life we lead.
Took a break at our usual place. No conversation gets enough importance without a cup of tea. My only complaint is that the size of the cup is still the same, but the portion inside is getting reduced day by day, hahaha. Trust me, they used to charge the same as they do now, but the cups were full back in 2020, and now they are getting lower and lower. Whether the price gets higher or the ingredients lower, they must balance with the price hikes, lol.
I had to return home; it was a short break for me. So wheels rolled back to our destination, but the atmosphere was too refreshing, I always use a mask when I am out due to my dust allergy problem, but I didn't feel like wearing that even for a second. I was taking deep breaths and feeling like a free bird out of the cage. The weather was calm and cold, so the air was way more refreshing than the whole day and thousands of times better than the usual one I breathe in.
So an unexpected ride to take me out of my monotonous routine was too good. It reminded me of the days when it was a daily routine; now everything is so messed up that having some spare time to roam carefree like before is a gone case—well, signing out for now with the hope that moments like this will come over and over again.
Have a good day.
Take care.
