Ah it is good to see a new Football Community finally launching on Hive. If there ever is a motivation for more people to onboard to Hive , it is through the beautiful game so I am in full support of this new community. It also cuts the Actifit shite out of the equation as well. I love football so it will be great to just go straight to the football community to just see what is going on in the world. Hopefully some of the Sportstalk guys will transfer across and post on the football community as well and we can all grow together.
So I haven't seen any posts yet in there so I'm gonna make the first post be a Tottenham post. I shall stake my claim. we have beat you to it. Just like we will beat you to a champions league place in May. Let's have a look at your run in. Oh and the game you lot postponed against us because of 1 case of Covid has yet to be scheduled so you can add that to the fixture list also.
Hmmm. It's a tough one with ourselves, the Hammers, Chelsea and United left to play. Jesus H Christ. I can see you dropping a few points there. In fairness Mikael has got you lot playing but Woolwich are always a bit shaky and the tables could turn as soon as Monday night at 9.45pm. Imagine going to Selhurst Park on a Monday night right after the international break. It's never easy in that kip.
Do we even need to look though. I have never seen a dressing room so divided. Pogba, Lingard and Cavani all on a free at the end of the season. How did they let this happen?? Ronaldo will be gone but this will help balance the side. Greenwood will be in jail. Mcguire needs to be shown the door. Rashford to Arsenal looks likely. The team are just a shambles. And to think we lost twice to you and beat Man City twice. Sums up our season. The thing about Utd. They will beat Liverpool and Chelsea and lose to Brentford and Brighton.
OK OK it's time to look at the Spurs fixtures.
With the exception of Liverpool every other game is winnable. We haven't had Woolwich at the lane with a crowd there yet so I am booking my tickets to this one as soon as there is a date set. I can see Sky getting their beady eyes on a Super Sunday at the end of the season here. Arsenal have fixture congestion after they ran away with their one case of Covid 19 so they only have themselves to blame really. I am confident of a win here.
Spurs are on a run in the prem with 5 wins from 7 premiership games so the international break was not welcome for a team playing well. We have Newcastle this Sunday at home which should be a walkover. They have lost their last two games and are pretty much safe from the dropzone, Villa are not playing great either and the Gerrard honeymoon period is long over. Brighton and Brentford should be easy enough as well. We have seen Brighton off on 2 occasions already this year. Liverpool is a write off. If we get anything there it is a bonus. Leicester is a dodgy one. You never know with Leicester but Harry Kane always scores against them so if he stays fit he can do a job. As I say that my fingers are crossed for no one to get injured especially Kane in this break. Skipp is on his way back after an injection went wrong with a groin injury. It's a weird one that. I think Antonio is having issues with the Spurs medical team as he has aimed jibes at them now in pressers on numerous occasions. Romero is away with Argentina but suspended. They thought they could overturn the appeal and this was rejected thank god. It is tough on the South Americans with travel on internationals because it takes a couple of days to get back to 100% after their long flights. They love a good tackle down there as well.
So in summary I am quietly confident of our chances. The ball is in Arsenals court of course so let's see how they cope with it.
Best of luck to Footie Fanzone again.
