The Maestro Prieto Figueroa Early Education Center held an exhibition by preschool students on the quarterly project carried out during the first part of the 2025-2026 school year.
The institution has a total of four sections. This school year, they carried out their project based on the children's interest in learning about a very specific topic, and in this sense, all were related to Christmas, family sharing, solidarity, and the cuisine consumed during the holiday season, such as hallacas, ham bread, turkey, baked chicken, papaya jam, and pasticho with ham, ground beef, and shredded chicken.
In addition, we discussed how we approach clothing, given that nowadays people wear new clothes on the day celebrating the birth of Jesus of Nazareth and at the end of the year, especially when celebrating with children, who are the ones who enjoy it the most.
The children also talked about their belief in the baby Jesus and Santa Claus because of the gifts they receive. This belief continues, even though it is fantasy, because children love it for all the beautiful things it entails. But the most important thing is all the educational development that it entails, and the results are reflected in the learning process of our children.

En el Centro de Educación inicial Maestro Prieto Figueroa se llevó a cabo la exposición de los estudiantes de preescolar referido al proyecto trimestral que se realiza en este primer tramo del año escolar 2025-2026.
En total son cuatro secciones con las que cuenta la institución, este año escolar realizaron su proyecto basado en el interés de los niños en conocer un tema bien específico, y en este sentido todos estuvieron supeditados a la Navidad, la forma de compartir la familia, la solidaridad, la gastronomía que se consume en estos tiempos decembrinos como las hallacas, el pan de jamón, el pavo, el pollo al horno, el dulce de lechoza, el pasticho con jamón, carne molida y pollo mechado.
Además la forma como asumíamos la vestimenta dado que en estos tiempos el pueblo usa ropa nueva, el día que se celebra el nacimiento de Jesús de Nazareth, y el fin del año, sobre todo se festeja con los niños, a quienes más se complace.
También expusieron los niños sobre la creencia del niño Jesús y santa Claus, por los regalos que reciben. Sigue esta creencia, aunque es fantasía, a los niños les encanta, por todo lo bonito que ello conlleva. Pero lo más importante es todo el desarrollo pedagógico didáctico que ello conlleva, y los resultados se ven reflejados en la construcción de los aprendizajes de nuestros infantes.
