"I recently came across a post by titled 'My Students Are Addicted to Their Cellphones (and Water is Wet)', and it really got me thinking about the role of technology in education."
I have recently completed my graduation from University of the Punjab, Lahore. My major was Information Technology. It was four years program full of computing and technology. I have seen the speed of technology, as I use Iphone, laptop and computers. So every day, there is an innovation in apps, web and new versions of computing devices.
So the man discussed the impact of cellphone of students, and what we are doing to get rid of that issue because students and much enganged to mobile phones and have lack of interest in studies.
As I belong to a village of Pakistan, a decade time ago, I had seen family member sit together to have food of the day and have gossips. Our elders tells us the tails and we get really enjoyed. But now mobile phones are spread all over the villages. Now children use mobiles instead of family talk. Even parents don't want to communicate to have a better growth of there child.

Now students thinks about what, they think about to make a tiktok video all the day. They don't pay attention to their studies. They even use mobile phones in class rooms during lecture time. They don't know how much harmful this is. They really enjoy while using social media instead of talking to each other. They sit together but use mobile phones.
I tell you a real story of my friend. He was my junior in university. He just do nothing but using mobile all the day on bed. He sleeps 15 hours and remaining using mobile. He switches whatsapp to instagram, instagram to snapchat, snapshat to facebook as some notification comes. Event during exam, he think, how much hours I have before exam. Soppose 10 hours, he thought, I can complete syllabus in 3 hours. So start using mobile. When exact 3 hours remain, he start studying. But how can he study, as notification comes, he again start using mobile. Then he think, how much I marks needed to pass. 50 marks are enough to pass. So I start using mobile. When exact one hour remains, he again start learning. But not have a good preparation of exam and failed in subject or just passed.
As I am 21 years old, I dont' know much how can we save students from all of these things. But I think, If we can restrict social medias to be banned to specific to useful content, will be good thing to some extent. As we know, if someone get addict to some drugs, we start healing to decreasing the quantity of drug and through alternatives which are less harmful. So instead of instantly removing social medias is not possible. They platforms should be monitored to some regulatory commitee to restrict the platform to make useful content instead of these stupid things. And instead of simple flow that allow to create content, content creater should also be legalized.
As much we are getting the benefits from technology, as much harmful things also penetrating in us. So we need to start medications.
At the end, I will say thanks to to upload writing on that important issue. He/She suggested important dopamine Manu through which we can handle instantly that problem. I again really appreciate for that valuable post.
